Stagecoach, Timetable Changes from Monday 3rd August

Please see the information below from Stagecoach

We’re continuing to follow the Scottish Government’s route map for COVID-19, and the time has come to further increase our services across East Scotland.

From Monday 3rd August, we’ll be further increasing our services, and some routes that haven’t run over the last several months will return to the roads.

Below you’ll find the full list of services running from Monday 3rd August, along with links to the timetables – simply click the service number to view the timetable.

From Monday 10th August, there will be some minor changes due to Local Council tender changes, and information on these will be available ASAP.

The capacity on board our buses will remain reduced to allow for easier social distancing, which means you may still see a “BUS FULL” sign on the bus you wish to board. If you see this, please wait at your stop for the next available service.

Remember – it’s still mandatory to wear a face covering when travelling with us. Exceptions do apply and more information can be found on our FAQ page.

Don’t forget – we’ve proposed some further changes from Monday 28th September and you can have your say on these by visiting our consultation page. You have until Friday 7th August to leave your feedback.

Below you’ll find our links to the timetables valid from Monday 3rd August, across Fife. Remember to use our journey planner before you set off as updates may be made from time-to-time.

Please be assured that the well-established and rigorous cleaning regimes on board our buses will remain in place at all times, and that contactless payment is available on all our vehicles.

Stagecoach, Bus Service Changes, Monday 29th June 2020

From Monday 29th June Stagecoach will be increasing their services.  Please see the information below or alternatively clicking here will take you to their website.

As we follow the Scottish Government’s route map for COVID-19, the bus services we provide across East Scotland will begin to increase.

We’re pleased to announce that from Monday 29th June, we’ll be further increasing our services, however we’ll also be reducing the number of seats available on board our buses, to allow for easier social distancing. Each bus will now have a reduced maximum capacity, and we’ll add coloured stickers onboard so you know where to sit and where to leave empty.
As we have fewer seats available, the capacity of our buses will be reduced meaning you may seen a “bus full” sign on the bus the wish to board and be unable to board. If you see this, please wait at your stop for the next available service.

Remember – it’s now mandatory to wear a face covering when travelling with us. Exceptions do apply and more information can be found on our FAQ page.

Below you’ll find our special timetables, valid from Monday 29th June until further notice, across Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Angus.

Remember to check this page before your journey as updates may be made from time-to-time as the situation we are currently experiencing develops.

If you are travelling between Thursday 25th June and Sunday 28th June, you’ll find the current special timetables here.

Please be assured that the well-established and rigorous cleaning regimes on board our buses will remain in place at all times, and that contactless payment is available on all our vehicles.

Stay safe when you’re travelling on Stagecoach Services

As more people in return to work, government advice continues to be to only travel if your journey is necessary. Buses are here if you need them and play a vital role in letting people make necessary journeys.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority so, in line with government guidance, we’ve put in place measures to help our customers to practise social distancing and travel on our services.

Make a plan:

  • Allow extra time for your journey and try to travel at off-peak times, where possible.
  • Check our latest timetables before you travel.

Social distancing at the bus stop:

Travelling Safely on our services

  • At bus stops, try to keep 2 metres away from anyone else in the queue.
  • Let people off the bus before you get on and try to keep a safe distance between you, the driver and other customers.
  • Pay by your smartcard, contactless card or smart phone where possible.

Social distancing on the bus:

Travelling Safely on our services

  • Sit in the window seat, leaving the seats in front and behind you empty and don’t sit directly behind the driver.
  • Only one person can sit in a double seat, unless you’re with a member of your household.
  • Don’t stand on the bus.
  • Once you’re on the bus open a window, if you can, to help with ventilation.
  • Wear a face covering. It’s an added level of safety for you, your fellow passengers and our drivers.
  • When leaving the bus stay seated, ring the bell and take everything with you.
  • Let us know if you think your bus is too busy to allow for social distancing.

Paying for your journey:

Payment Options

  • You can use contactless payment methods on all our buses.
  • You can also buy tickets online and on our app.
  • If you can only use cash, please have the exact fare.

New social distancing measures are in place for added safety. If you’ve got   feedback for us, we’d love to hear it.

For more details about timetables and other information about travelling at this time, check out our Coronavirus page.
